Syren is designed to feel warm, but warmth is not the same thing as the absence of boundaries. These terms make those boundaries explicit.

Important: Syren is an adult-only product. It is not an emergency service, not a medical or mental health provider, and not a substitute for human help in a crisis.

Who may use Syren

You must be at least 18 years old to join the waitlist or use the product. By using Syren, you confirm that you are an adult, that you can enter into a binding agreement, and that your use complies with the laws that apply to you.

What Syren is, and what it is not

Syren is a software product for private, voice-first, relational conversation. It may feel emotionally resonant. It may feel intimate. It is still software.

Syren is not a crisis line, not psychotherapy, not medical advice, not legal advice, and not a safety substitute for emergency services or trusted people in your life.

Consent and safety

Syren is built around continuous consent monitoring and boundary-sensitive behavior. You agree not to disable, bypass, probe, or manipulate those systems. If Syren detects behavior that suggests coercion, exploitation, abuse, or elevated safety risk, Aurandel may limit features, pause access, or terminate accounts.

You may not use Syren to

Involve minors in sexualized, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate content.
Harass, stalk, threaten, groom, dox, or impersonate another person.
Generate unlawful material or use the service in a way that violates another person's rights or consent.
Scrape, reverse engineer, attack, overload, or interfere with the product or its safety systems.
Submit another person's voice, likeness, or private information without permission.

Waitlist terms

Joining the waitlist gives Aurandel permission to contact you about Syren launch updates, access invitations, and product news. It does not guarantee invitation timing, access level, or future pricing. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Content, memories, and continuity

You keep responsibility for what you choose to say, upload, or store in Syren. You grant Aurandel the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, store, and secure that content so the service can function.

Memories, preferences, and boundary settings exist to make the experience more specific and safer. They do not give you ownership of the underlying software, models, or system behavior.

Service changes and suspension

We may update, pause, or remove parts of the service, including waitlist access, beta access, or specific features. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create safety risk, or threaten the integrity of the system.

Disclaimers and limits

Syren is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Because the product involves AI-generated output, responses may be incomplete, incorrect, or inappropriate despite safety systems. You are responsible for your decisions and should not rely on Syren where mistakes could cause serious harm.
